Today is my birthday. The festivites began last weekend and will last all the way through next weekend!! Last weekend we went to Crystal Palace skating center with mostly family and a few friends. That was really fun! Haven't been there in years! I did the races, (didnt come in last!) Matt and I couple skated, and we requested the chicken dance... which we didn't get to do because they don't do it on Friday nights.... what's up with that?? Afterwards, we went to Stoney's with Tara, Phil, and a friend from work, Joann and her boyfriend. We ended up getting into VIP with a free bottle so that worked out nicely. I got a few gifts that night too. Very cool - people are so nice.
On Friday, at work we celebrated again. Holly brought in bagels and I blew out a candle stuck into the cream cheese - very inventive. My managers at work each got me some really cool stuff too. I worked a half day that day because we were flying out to SLC for Brittany Balle's wedding. Brittany is Matt's cousin on his Mom's side. The wedding was nice, then we went to eat with Matt's fam. That night we crashed at Ryan's house (Matt's brother) and drove into Park City with Ryan-Dezi, and Denny-Joyce (my parents in law) the next day. That was fun - Park City is jam packed with buildings but they all blend well with the scenery so it didnt feel crowded. Got some shopping in - bought Cody and Alex (1 yr old nephews) soccer T-shirts and a rollerskating T-shirt for Jaden (5 yr old niece). LOVE shopping for kids. Saturday night we went to dinner with the in-laws again to Macaroni Grill - where they sang Happy Birthday in Italian to me - then we went back to Denny's and played cards. The card game was Phase 10, we played with Joyce, Matt-Steph (Joyce's daughter & husband) and Matt C. kicked out butts.
Today is my actual birthday - I woke up to a birthday song, a nice card, and a really pretty pair of earrings. Nice pic by Matt!! Surprised he got me earrings though because the last time one fell off and was lost. He made sure to get some with a really good clasp this time though. Now we are just hanging out at Denny's - Joyce is making enchiladas for dinner and Ryan-Dezi and Shelley-Al are coming over. Should be fun, just hanging out with the fam.
The last part of the birthday celebration will be next weekend. I am going to Vancouver with Hagar to visit Galit. Total girls weekend doing touristy stuff and shopping. Very much looking forward to that! :) Will post pics to this blog when I get home and pretty sure the next blog will be all about Vancouver!

Let's give this a shot!
Hello everyone - I keep hearing about blogs from a friend in Louisville - Summer. Everytime I talk to her, she refers me to her blog because that is the best way to get up to date and see new pictures. Well, being that I love pictures... this can be used as a journal... and it would be nice to keep in touch with long lost family and friends, I have decided to try out blogging! To get this up to speed....
Today is April 1, 2008. I met Matt August 18, 1999 and we tied the knot June 9, 2001. We met in Las Vegas and still live here. We enjoy eachother so much and try to live a stress free - FUN life together. We have a small house that we have lived in for almost 5 years and have two dogs (Shiba-Inu) - Tiro and Krya that we share it with. No children yet but more on that later.
We both come from large families - 5 kids in my fam...(Zac/Jason/Tina/Matt/Tara) + a step brother (Nick), and 2 half-sisters (Katie/Nicole). Matt comes from a family of 5 kids too......(Jeff/Ryan/Matt/Clint/Shelley). Between the two of us, we have 13 nieces and nephews between the ages of 1 and 13. I really, REALLY feel lucky to be surrounded by so much family!
